A Classic Pinup Session for a Classy Lady

My first shoot with Capitol Bombshell was a unique one with its colorful and slightly dark Day of the Dead theme, and I very much enjoyed doing something a little different for that one. But I also very much enjoyed getting back to classic cheesecake with our most recent shoot together. It was so much fun to recreate some of the art that drew me to pinup modeling in the first place.

With the help of The Capitol Bombshell team and the use of some of the vintage props from their impressive collection, we were able to put together some pretty faithful recreations. Starting with great pinup art for inspiration and having the expert guidance of Capitol Bombshell, I felt confident enough to play with the over the top cheesecake expressions and just have fun in front of the camera. I love how the photos turned out, and I can't wait to bring another classic pinup piece to life!

That's not even to mention the creative Christmas concepts we shot afterwards. First up was a magical, if slightly mischievous elf scene, followed by the real challenge: The Nutcracker AND Clara... both played by me, in the same photo. And to make things more difficult, I had the great idea to wear toe shoes for Clara, despite not having done ballet since I was four years old. Through Capitol Bombshell's talent and a little bit of Christmas magic, we managed to get some fantastic shots of Clara en pointe with The Nutcracker as her dance partner. I'm sure the out takes are numerous and hilarious, as I tried to balance on my tiptoes. The Capitol Bombshell team was helpful and patient throughout the process, and the results speak for themselves. Thanks again for another wonderful experience and the chance to dare, embrace, and unleash!

That's What She Said!: Happy Marine

"A quick thank you for the wonderful book you created out of my pictures.  My boyfriend was almost brought to tears when he opened the gift.  He was completely shocked and in love with the outfits and the details that went into the shoot.

Thank you for helping to surprise him!  We will definitely be back for more photo shoots.  This time I plan to purchase some outfits and be even more daring :)

Again, thank you for your kindness and patience for my first shoot.  You did a wonderful job and made one Marine very happy!!!!" -AM

Pampered from Beginning to End

TESTIMONIAL: With Capitol Bombshell, I was pampered from beginning to end. My very personalized experience included full hair and make-up transformation and photo-shoot themes of my choosing. We even created a theme they'd never used before using my equestrian gear - and without any pre-planning - impressive! Luigi Crespo, and his glam team cultivated an environment that was playful and fun, yet tasteful and safe - consummate professionals. And equally important, my photos are absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Capitol Bombshell, for a fantastic pin-up photo-shoot - my first one, but not likely my last!  ~Bethany E.

Wall of Shoes to Die For... Dia de los Muertos style that is...

TESTIMONIAL: Having the pleasure of working with Capitol Bombshell on such a unique photo shoot was nothing short of magical. From choosing the perfect outfit with the help of the Capitol Bombshell team, having the most beautiful and creative sugar skull makeup done by Jordan K Winn & Co, to getting in front of the camera and glamming it up, it was non-stop fun from stepping foot in the door until the last shot! Not to mention the gorgeous dressing room and drool-worthy wall of shoes. I can't wait to do it all again!   -Autumn Breeze

These boots are made for glamming! Miss-V visits Capitol Bombshell

TESTIMONIAL: Last week we had the pleasure of working with Miss-V who as the winner of a Capitol Bombshell-Retro Lovely Magazine free photo-shoot contest visited us all the way from Philadelphia, PA.  This is what she had to say about her experience: "Capitol Bombshell is truly your full service pin-up photographer!  The first thing I noticed when walking in to their beautiful studio is a gorgeous WALL of shoes.  They certainly have an impressive wardrobe to match, but it is all about the shoes!  After getting my hair and make-up impeccably styled [by Jordan K Winn & Co.] and slipping into my genuine vintage outfit, I strolled over to one of their many mini-themed areas and instantly felt like a Varga girl.  This is how it's done."  I can't wait to go back!  -Miss-V.  Follow Miss V via https://www.facebook.com/pages/Miss-V

Bombshell Bachelorettes!

Bombshell Bachelorettes! by Terra Williams of Jordan K. Winn & Co.

Jordan K Winn & Co. had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the inaugural Bombshell Bachelorette party that Capitol Bombshell is now offering.

Sandy with her amazing chair and Glamcor light working on lips!

Sandy and I, Terra,  spent the evening creating amazing pin-up and retro looks for a group of fun-loving, kind-hearted, and gorgeous women.  It was an incredible experience for both of us to help this wonderful group of friends transform into full on pin-up models.  As we completed each victory roll, winged liner, and red lip, the confidence the women exuded sky rocketed!

Capitol Bombshell opened their vast wardrobe and shoe collection to the party and the girls were able to try on and dress up in which ever era they chose.

During the course of the evening we had the pleasure of creating looks inspired by cat woman, the pink ladies, the iconic Marilyn Monroe, and many more.

This first Bachelorette Bombshell party was such an extraordinary event that we can’t wait to meet the next group of women who will let us be a part of their special evening!
